Niña is an active supporter of the Homeless World Cup, an annual global football tournament that uses football to energize and revitalize lives. She is also a fan of Jeepney magazine, which organizes the Homeless World Cup program in the Philippines.

She also has been a key mover of YouthVotePhilippines and the Movement for Good Governance, both convergence groups of progressive, reform-oriented organizations working together to bring about transparency, accountability, and integrity in Philippine governance.
